Question : There is a small “squeal” coming from the rear under carriage when first starting the cart in motion. Any ideas on a solution and the process to cure the problem.
Answer : If the rear end has a check plug, it will be just ahead of the axle and on the top side, just above the split in the rear end housing. Many of the EZGOs don’t have check plugs. The noise you hear, could be a loose brake part, or just a brake shoe rubbing. With the unit jacked up, could you pinpoint the noise, right side, left side, center, front, back? I would assume this is a new noise or is the cart new to you? Many carts have a distinct what is called SCR squeal from the controller.
