Question : Hello; I have a John Deere 410 backhoe that is locked in 2 gears, took the top covers off shifter side and the top cover off the gear side. Found the 2nd gear shift fork off the gear, put this back in place by loosening the set screw, prying the fork back in the gear. I have tryed to move 2nd and 3rd gears by prying with a crow bar between the cluster gear and each slider gear with no luck.

It was hard to steer at first now the steering wheel will turn around and around without turning the wheels. I can not find a steering puump on it and do not know if it has power steering or not can you tell me anything on this
