Question : I have a John Deere 510 Backhoe, probably early 80′s model. The transmission suddenly started slipping in the first three or four forward gears. locks in fine in high gear and reverse. Will barely go forward in the lower gears. Fluid level is fine.

Question : I have a Cat XXX XXXX tractor backhoe all of the hydraulics seem weak. When you go to pick up with the loader it will drop first unless you rev it up and then it will work fine. The backhoe boom is the same way. We have changed the pump twice and it works maybe for a few hours than it goes back to the same thing. I guess the strange thing is it has an auxillary valve on the backhoe it is not hooked to anything but if you push that pedal down while operating the backhoe it seems to operate better. the only part that seems to operate fine is the swing on the backhoe.

I have a John Deere 3010 with a loader on. I was having trouble with the spool valve for the loader, it was not lifting but would tip and crowd the bucket, so i put on a new spool valve. the loader now works fine but the steering will not operate unless i pressure the loader, then it works fine

I have a John Deere 990 lightweight utility tractor. While attempting to pull a small tree out of the groundwith the boom pole on the back one of the pins on the pole broke. The hyraulic system was fully loaded pressure-wise and up against the relief valve.
