Question : We have a troybilt bronco riding lawn mower that we purchased from Lowe’s in May. We can keep the drive belt on. We bought a new drive belt, put it on, mow around five minutes and the belt keeps kicking off the pulleys………any advice?

Check to see if you have a spring missing that would normally keep tension on the belt.

You should have not needed a new belt at all since may

Did you ever hit a solid object hard… ?

If so, you may have bent a pulley, or a spindle. You may have bent the deck (harder to see).

Also a bent blade will cause extra vibration that will shake the belt off.

If none of the above, call Lowes. Ask them who they prefer that you take your unit to for warranty service.

You should not have to pay for repairs if it is under warranty.
