Question : i HAVE A POLAN hd145h420 RIDING LAWN TRACTOR 14.5 HP. In the base of the carb there is a rubber hose coming from the side of the block. When I start the tractor oil comes out of the hose into the carb. What cause this?

Answer : That is the breather valve. If you have excessive oil coming out of it then the engine may have a worn cylinder or rings that are cause excessive crankcase pressure.
